Journal club: ‘The spatial proteome of the Plasmodium falciparum schizont illuminates the composition and evolutionary trajectories of its organelles’ with Scott Chisholm

5 June 2026: Presented by Marketa Novotna, SPPIRIT Forum organiser, in this journal club Scott, the 1^st author of the article, explained how they used the hyperLOPIT spatial proteomic method determine the localisation of a large number of proteins and to shed light on the evolution of Plasmodium organelles.
